Executive Director

Edie is a College of Charleston alumna and an award-winning, National Board Certified Teacher who has educated and advocated for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 30 years. In 2010, she created the REACH Program on a foundation of inclusion and self-determination. She continues to incorporate these philosophies into every decision she makes as the REACH team strives to further develop and improve the program each year.  

Nora Krasowski

Lead Support Coordinator: Freshman Cohort

Nora earned her M.A. in Teaching & Special Education with a concentration in Intellectual Disabilities from the College of Charleston. She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Drawing upon her previous experience as a special education teacher, she leads the REACH support sessions: Transition to College and Writing Comprehension, and provides support and transition services for the program's first-year students.

Support Coordinator: Sophomore Cohort

Jill earned a Master of Social Work from Monmouth University and is a Licensed Social Worker. Her dynamic experience in social work brings a diverse perspective to the program, and she teaches the Introduction to Personal Finance and Career Exploration support sessions and provides support for the program's sophomores.

Emily Barcel

Support Coordinator: Junior Cohort

Emily earned her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. Her counseling background adds a unique dimension to the REACH team. She teaches the support sessions Business & Personal Communication and Community Engagement. As the coordinator for the junior class, Emily's support and transition services are rooted in expanding independence, building self-determination, and strengthening community engagement.

Assistant Director & Support Coordinator: Senior Cohort & Alumni

Lisa earned a Master of Social Work at the University of South Carolina and is a Licensed Social Worker, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. As a support coordinator for seniors in the program, Lisa teaches the Advanced Personal Finance and Now What? Preparing for Life After College support sessions, provides transition services, and facilitates educational student small-group sessions with a focus on topics such as safety, social skills development, and self-care.

Arianne Bauserman

Mentor Coordinator

Arianne earned her B.A. in Recreation, Parks & Tourism with a concentration in Management & Recreation Therapy from Radford University. She brings to the program 10 years of experience working as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. As the mentor coordinator for the REACH program, Arianne recruits and trains student mentors and works diligently to pair them in a way that fosters positive mentor–mentee relationships.

Jenni Morse

Career Coordinator

Jaimee earned her M.A. in Education from Dowling College in New York. She is a Certified Special Education Teacher and has more than seven years' experience working in the vocational rehabilitation field. As the program's career coordinator, Jaimee establishes and develops internship sites both on and off-campus. She builds and maintains exceptional working relationships within the college, community and state to help provide the best internship opportunities for students.

Administrative Coordinator

Melissa brings six years of experience in administration, hospitality, customer service, and event management to the position. She coordinates the program's events, meetings, and travel while managing the organization of all things REACH. She also helps maintain the program's social media presence.
